What can be more satisfying than a fudgy brownie. Chocolate itself is loaded with polyphenols that boost health, mood and longevity. With a little twist in the choice of ingredients the all time favourite can be made healthier, fudgier and more delicious. Let’s check the recipe.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a cup add a cup of chocolate chips in olive oil, heat the mixture on a water bath.
  • Keep stirring till the chocolate melts and mixture is fully combined. Let it cool for five minutes.
  • In a separate bowl mix all the dry ingredients till they combine well.
  • In the third bowl, mix eggs, vanilla extracts and coconut sugar, fold them together.
  • Now slowly pour the cooled chocolate mixture in the egg mixture and mix them together.
  • Add the dry ingredients in above mixture and fold together well.
  • Add remaining chocolate chips and mix well.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased baking tin, bake for 20 – 25 mins till the knife comes out clean.
  • Let it cool, slice and serve.

  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil (plus more for greasing the pan)
  • 1 cup almond flour
